This item includes the specialty silicone that you will use to seal your printhead and cable connections, which will make those connections not permeable to water/liquids in the event of a liquid spill. Liquid spills (such as from flushing the printheads in a way that causes liquid to spill over) can cause electrical damage to the printhead, cables, and potentially also to the boards to which the cables connect. Sealing the printhead using this specialty silicone will therefore minimize your risk of such damage and associated costs. This item includes the silicone and instructions (both video, and text/image instructions). You will need a couple of screwdrivers (a small flat, and a small star) to remove your printhead, and a small scissors, which are not included.
