Question: What ink is used for direct to film printing?
Answer: Direct to film (DTF) printing typically uses specialized water-based pigment inks designed for fabric printing. These inks are formulated to adhere to the film substrate and produce vibrant, durable prints when transferred to textiles.
Question: Is Kodak FTF Ink reliable for glossy numbers/names printing?
Answer: Consistency is linked to the ICC profile. Our standard ink comes with an ICC profile to ensure reliable results. However, achieving a glossy finish requires glossy ink, which we currently do not offer for Epson engines.
