DTF (Direct to Film) ink is used in a process where designs are printed onto a special film and then transferred onto fabric using a heat press, allowing for vibrant colors on a variety of materials, including cotton. Sublimation ink, on the other hand, is used in a process where the ink turns into gas when heated, bonding with polyester fibers, which limits its use to polyester fabrics or specially coated items. The key difference lies in the materials they can be applied to and the way they bond with the surface.
