The extent to which conversion is required varies between Epson printers.
Some need extensive conversion, others need only for some of the feeding rollers to be removed.
Concerning usage of DTF inks, standard settings cannot be used, since DTF employs white ink, which is not available with standard printers.
In addition, RIP software is required, in order to manage white ink and to rip images prior to printing.
The printhead, tubes, dampers, cartridges have to be flushed of any previous/standard ink prior to using DTF (or other specialty ink).
