Sublimation ink and DTF (Direct-to-Film) ink are not the same. Sublimation ink is designed for transferring images onto polyester fabrics and certain hard surfaces through a heat press, where the ink turns into a gas and bonds with the material. DTF ink, on the other hand, is used to print designs onto a special film, which is then transferred to a variety of fabrics using an adhesive powder and heat press, allowing for more versatility in fabric types.
