Yes, MAGICSEAL is compatible with eco-solvent / ecosolvent printing and many forms of vinyl transfer printing, including eco-solvent printable HTV (heat transfer vinyl) often used in t-shirt customization.
Eco-solvent printing involves using eco-solvent ink (milder than traditional solvent inks) with compatible printers to print onto printable vinyl or heat transfer film. This process is often referred to as eco-solvent vinyl transfer printing or simply eco-solvent heat transfer, and it is widely used for creating custom apparel, signs, and decals. See below for some customer videos showing MagicSeal in action with Eco-Solvent Printing!
When applied after pressing your design onto the shirt, MAGICSEAL enhances the finished result by:
-
Softening the hand feel of the transfer, making the printed area feel less stiff and more natural against the skin
-
Embedding the transfer deeper into the fabric fibers, making it look and feel more like part of the garment
-
Improving wash durability, helping the design resist cracking, peeling, or fading over time
-
Increasing fabric breathability, particularly beneficial for larger or full-front transfers that would otherwise trap heat or feel heavy
To use MAGICSEAL with eco-solvent printed transfers, simply complete your heat press process as usual, then lightly spray MAGICSEAL over the printed area and apply a final finishing press (typically 5–10 seconds at moderate heat with parchment or a Teflon sheet). This final step allows MAGICSEAL to penetrate and bond, producing a noticeably softer and more professional result.
Whether you're using Roland, Mimaki, or Epson eco-solvent printers with Siser ColorPrint, B-Flex, or similar printable HTV, MAGICSEAL can help elevate your finished product and differentiate your prints from standard, rigid heat transfers.
