If you have an Epson L805 printer or are retrofitting an L1800/1390 with an L805 printhead (using a bridge adapter), you need a 13-pin cable. For unmodified L1800/1390 printers using their original printhead, a 9-pin cable is required. Using the correct cable ensures proper communication and prevents damage to your printer.
