💡 About Anhydrous Ethanol
Anhydrous ethanol—also known as absolute ethanol or pure ethanol—is a highly purified form of ethyl alcohol (Câ‚‚Hâ‚…OH) with a water content below 0.5%. Its name comes from the Greek word meaning “without water,” highlighting its moisture-free nature. Because it contains virtually no water, it is ideal for cleaning sensitive electronic components, helping prevent corrosion or short circuits.
