No, designs cannot be transferred to fabric immediately after printing.
Wet Print Condition: Right after printing, the image is still wet and vulnerable to smudging or removal before it dries.
Adhesion Requirement: DTF prints do not bond to fabric through standard heat transfer methods. They require an adhesive powder to ensure proper adhesion.
Post‑Processing Options:
With a powder‑applicator curing machine such as the xTool OS1, you can apply, shake, and dry the adhesive powder in one streamlined process before transferring the image.
Without such equipment, you must manually apply heat‑sensitive adhesive powder, distribute it evenly, and then cure the print using a standard curing oven or alternative drying equipment prior to transfer.
This process ensures the design bonds securely to the fabric, preventing smudging, incomplete adhesion, or premature wear.
