Choose the xTool O1 UV + DT Fabric Edition when product versatility is more important than maximum apparel-production speed.
The O1 can produce hard goods, UV-DTF decals, dimensional textures and apparel from one compact platform. It is a strong option for gift businesses, makers, Etsy sellers and small shops producing one-off products or shorter runs.
A dedicated DTF printer, such as the xTool Apparel Printer or DTFLINE Vantage, is the better choice when apparel transfers are your primary business. Traditional DTF systems offer:
- Continuous roll-fed DTF film
- Long gang-sheet production
- Faster output for repeated transfers
- Less manual loading
- Automated powdering and curing when paired with a shaker and dryer
The O1’s fabric platen is approximately 11.8" × 15.4", and textile DTF production is limited to individual sheets rather than continuous DTF rolls. Its Epson F1080/XP600 printheads are well suited to a compact multifunction printer, while higher-production DTF systems may use faster dual Epson i1600-class printheads.
Bottom line: choose the O1 for smaller quantities across many product categories. Choose a dedicated DTF printer for higher-volume apparel and transfer production.
