The Pearl Elite takes longer to manufacture and has more components on the machine. The main benefit of the Elite over other models is that it has a built-in ventilation system and an enclosed body with zero pre-treat emissions, so it is best/safest if you are operating in a small/tight space that doesn't have good ventilation. It offers:
- An enclosed Spray Area
- Corrosion proof Body
- Fan Filtration system
- Touch screen interface
In contrast, the Pearl PTM has an open-cover spray design, and it is not advisable to have an open cover Pre-treatment machine next to your printer or in the same area.
But the PTM is the choice to go with if price/production is the main goal. It was designed for industrial use. The PTM is cheaper and faster, so the better option if you have the space/ventilation.
